7 Days – Golden Triangle with Golden Temple Tour

On your arrival at Delhi, the capital city of India, you will be received by our TTMC India officials. They will take you to a hotel and assist you in check in process thereafter handed over all your tour related document and will tell you about your tour program.

Today you will be taken for a guided visit to various heritage spots and architectural masterpieces in Delhi including Qutub Minar: a UNESCO world heritage site, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial. Also you will be taken to have a look at the India Gate (earlier known as All India War Memorial), government buildings like Parliament House in the surrounding area including the majestic Rashtrapati Bhawan or the President’s house by drive pass and visit to the Red Fort (situated in Old Delhi) and Chandni Chowk market (heaven for shopping goers). Come back to the hotel for an overnight stay at Delhi Hotel.

Enjoy a joyful road trip to Agra enroute visit to the Sikandra – Akbar’s Tomb. Visit to Taj Mahal (listed in ‘Seven Wonders of the World’) built in white marble by Shahjahan for the love of his life: Mumtaz Mahal. Next, go to the beautiful Agra Fort (built by Akbar, known for its magnificent halls, gardens and architectural beauty). Also visit to the Itimad–ud–Daulah as know name of “baby Taj”.

After breakfast, Our morning drive takes us from Agra to Jaipur, visiting the ‘ruined city of Fatehpur Sikri’ on the way (built by Akbar) having great historical importance. Check into a hotel on reaching Jaipur and enjoy a de-stressing overnight stay. Overnight stay will be held at Jaipur.

After earlier breakfast, sightseeing tour of the Pink City- Jaipur begins by climbing up to the Amber fort (located on a hill) in a royal fashion riding on an elephant. Afterwards, depart to see some awesome examples of Rajput architecture: Hawa Mahal which is called so because it has 935 windows. Also explore the museum in City Palace and Jantar Mantar of Jaipur which exhibits astronomical devices of past times. Overnight stay will be in Delhi.

Early morning pick from Delhi hotel at 6.00 hrs and transferring to the railway station for boarding train to Amritsar by a comfortable train journey (air-conditioned). Morning meal will be served on board. On reaching Amritsar our representatives will take you to a hotel. In the evening witness the breathtaking beating retreat ceremony at Wagah Border. Wagah Border is one & the only land border open between India and Pakistan and the beating retreat ceremony is a daily military exercise conducted over here. The overnight stay will be held in Amritsar hotel.

Kick-start your day with a visit to the most revered place of worship of the Sikh community: The Golden Temple. It has been constructed in such a manner that it brings up the idea of secularism long preserved at its heart, then to the Jallian Walla Bagh next where cold blooded mass murdering took place as General Dyer, a British general ordered firing at a peaceful assembly killing thousands of innocent people. Arrival at the railway station at noon from where the train will be boarded to reach to Delhi. After arriving at Delhi railway station, we will be transferring to a hotel to have a peaceful night stay.
